Victoria Falls International Airport (IATA code: CFA) is one of the most recent beneficiaires of a splurge of Chinese investment in Zimbabwe. The result is a new runway and terminal and the ability to handle up to 1.7m passengers a year, compared to 500,000 previously. For visitors to nearby Victoria Falls, the new airport is a boon. Situated in the far north-west of Zimbabwe, the world-famouse waterfalls are a long way from the country’s two other international airports. But they are only 13 miles from Vic Falls airport. You can reach the Victoria Falls National Park by following signs on route A8 from the airport. This is a modern, two lane tarmac road.

Zambia Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL) has secured a US$5 million (about K37million), loan from Zanaco for the completion of the new terminal building at Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport. ZACL managing director Robinson Misitala confirmed this during a tour of the airport on Thursday to check on pending works with the purpose of agreeing on a work schedule with the contractor.

Kasane International Airport (IATA: BBK, ICAO: FBKE) is an airport serving Kasane, a town in the North-West District of Botswana. The airport is along the A33 Road, 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south of the town and 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south of the border with Namibia. Air Botswana provides scheduled service between Kasane and Gaborone on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Numerous charter flight operators offer flights to other destinations in the vicinity. Because it is near Chobe National Park, the airport is mainly used for tourism.[citation needed] Most lodges in the Kasane area provide shuttles from and to the airport.
